Parenthood Meets Meditation

April 24, 2017

Parenting by far has been one of the most challenging lessons in my life, and it’s a lesson that keeps on giving. In the Process, I have learned that Life is wonderful and un-perfect all at the same time. That being said, I know I would be a nut job if I didn’t meditate.

Here is a list of ways meditation has helped me cope with parenthood and life as a mother.

  1. Meditation helps to support my process when I don’t know what to do.
  2. Meditation helps me manage my freak-out moments so I don’t freak out on my family.
  3. Meditation is a stopping point to take a deep breath, gather my thoughts and learn to let go.

As a Reminder, While I do meditate, it doesn’t mean that I don’t have issues or that I don’t freak out… but I have a deep sense of understanding that all will be ok and not all will be great. In the end, meditation is a great tool for parenthood. Try it! Find a meditation which you can connect to for you. Find many here on my website
